Hey all,
Just in the process of puttion back my interior on my s14, and I went to put back on my steering colum cover, but of course, in my genious when taking it apart, forgot to label what the screws were for.........
Anyways, I'm looking though the FSM for both 95 and 98, and both have nothing about screw sizes on the interior. Does anyone know what screw size to use because I really don't want to strip the threads. From the screws I have, the only ones that really fit are a acouple ones with pointed ends, and a few with blunt ends, but bot really seem to not really want to fit correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There's no reason to include that kind of information since it's rare for technicians to mix up hardware, or forget where it all goes. Common sense dictates where screws should go back because they were just removed previously.
The column cover screws have a blunt tip, small round head without a step, about an inch long. There's six of them. They're unique to that part of the car only, the cover, the spiral cable, and the light stalks. Nowhere else.

If you really get stuck, go to the dealer and get new screws. They'll give you exactly what you need, but you have to spend money so that's your payback :)

I used the blunt ones, the cover is tight, so it seems to be good. Thanks!
