Hey guys, im having some problems with my tranny/clutch. I was driving the car and put it into neutral and almost came to a complete stop when i heard a pop and jerked the car foward, the shifter was stuck in the middle.
I looked under the car and this is what i found, there is an arm that sticks out of the tranny which sits agains the slave cylinder pin. that metal looking fork is loose. My question is does the tranny have to come off in order to get that fixed. any other way of taking care of this. and why would this happen.

Please help me out my car its not moving at all thanks alot.

Here its a pic for u guys

it has to come off.
and you need to go and buy that pin that moves the fork too, as you probably lost yours.
Be prepared to buy a clutch ;)

so there is no way around it? and the tranny will have to come off. those that happen when the clutch goes bad? My clutch was fine before this, not slipping or grids at all??
could of just been the bolt that broke off???
thanks for the advice.

Unless you can open the bellhousing with a saw and weld it back together, no.
