Well, I've purchased the import intelligence white fauce gauges for my car. After taking apart my dash and getting into my gauge cluster, i've managed to break my temp gauge and fuel gauge. I've learned that they were probably misalligned and the only way that they could be broken is if the pin came out. So I took everything apart again and I was able to fix my temperature gauge, but not my fuel gauge. I set my fuel gauge to the middle and went to fill up my car...the needle did not move.

Does anybody know what else I can try to get it to work?

If I just broke it then does anyone know how the fuel light comes on? I mean, i can live w/o a fuel gauge. my trip meter does work &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/whatsthat.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':whatthe:'> The only thing is just in case I would like my fuel light to come on if I did forget to fill up on time.

Does anybody know what trips the light? is it the sensor in the gas tank that tells that light to come on? OR is it the gauge itself that triggers the light? LIke, only if the gauge is low the light will come on.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just go on ebay and get a used gauge cluster for like $30, and take it to Nissan and have them roll the mileage to match your car.

I think the fuel light does depend on the needle itself cuz my light goes on and off when needle go to E. But just check if the gauge light is wired to the gauge itself or to a harness..</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
what a dumb idea....

dont ever go to a dealer for work..I heard it's $200/hr for labor.
