So, pretty sure most of you guys/girls have read/posted my thread about my problem with discount tire: http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=99740
They paid for the repairs and towing.... and they said for my inconvenience they want me to pick out a new set of Konigs... so I went with the "Reason" in graphite.
As much as I wanted to yell and curse up a storm, I kept my cool and explained the situation and they promptly fixed everything and I get a brand new set of rims to boot. But no matter what, everytime I get out of my car I still check my lugs, I don't feel like dying anytime soon.

good job!!! with a big corporation like that, they rather give you a set of rims then you bad mouth them all over the internet...in fact, you probably gave them some free advertising right here...now someones gonna say, "yeah, i heard they really take care of their customers"...word spreads fast over the internet, whether it be good or bad...

negatory batman, i just got curious and looked. but he got what he wants.

the real point of this thread is that there are good businesses in this world still. glad to hear you got hooked up. technically, a set of $600 rims is petty change to a huge corporation like DT, which is good and allows them to be able to do that when issues like his come up. (their most expensive one was $145... x4 = $580)

Yeah, from now on that's what I'm doing.... they can mount the damn tires to the rim... no one touches my baby anymore... not even my girlfriend

Same here. Especially when I remind them they sold for $709 each and I had to 'import' them, they get all excited. One kid even asked if they were going on a drift car. I told him "sorry, I'm not gay".
