I got my 1992 Se Coupe w/ 117000 miles for 4200 and I thought it was a real good deal because of how good of condition it was in. I stay away from cars that are already modded because you know that they have been driving hard. 3100 is a nice price tag as long as the condition is good. It's definiteley worth going down and checking out the car.

sounds like a good deal to me . You won't find that price here in LA that would be a $3500-$4K car. I got mine for $3900 with 19,144 miles on it documented <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hehe.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hehe:'>
It is a Black 91 hatch formerly auto now manual
Sounds like a good deal to me. Try offering 2700 and see what happens, if he won't budge from 3100...still a good deal.
Also, never buy a car w/out running the VIN through carfax and make sure you take it to YOUR mechanic (big name shop mech's are worthless) to have it professionally inspected.
Good deal, but Id make him take off the OBX muffler.
